Mood Music

I dont know about you lot but I read into music alot.
Certain artists I think make music that cant help you do owt but think. When your in a pickle about something or you have stuff on your mind, you have to put on a certain album, song or artist on to help you get your head together. Is it just me here? hmm

Certain artists I use are
Savage Garden,
James Morrison and
Dido.

Certain songs that make me think are

Goo Goo Dolls - Iris
Lighthouse Family - Lost in Space makes me think of my family
Sade - By Your Side makes me think of a certain someone wink
Christina Aguilara - The Voice Within
The Cranberries - Linger is such a beautiful song (the first 2 lines of the chorus always sounds amazing)

Maybe I'm just a sap lmao

Well, there are plenty of songs that make me feel a certain way about stuff. I guess I'll list a few:

Happy
"The Way" by Fastball - reminds me of the good times of the 90's

Sad
"Somebody to Shove" by Soul Asylum - The first time I heard this song, was one of the worst days of my life. Whoever is not familiar with the lyrics, the main line goes "I'm waiting for you to call me up and tell me I'm not alone." So, yeah, that would obviously be on me for life.

Thinking
"Beautiful World" by Colin Hay - It really makes you think about stuff; nothing I can really explain.

Those are just a few, of course.

My happy music is usually stuff from childhood, Aimee Stewart - Knock On Wood, 80's stuff, The Jacksons and George Harrison's Got My Mind Set On You always perks me up. w00t.gif
Jamiroquai always puts in in a better mood. His music is just so dancey and happy.
biggrin
