Was only earlier today when I had stuff to be done at work, I thought to myself how awesome the NES was (Nintendo entertainment system) actually is, so my question right here to you is recap your memories and share your greatest NES moments with us right here on GZG!!!

Nothing ever beats the Super Mario games. Super Mario bros.3 was ace. Though I hated that bloody sun that swirled round and round and scooped down to get ya. 9 times outta 10 it did. I cursed that sun many a time!!!

Duck Hunt was great too. How far technology has come now.biggrin

Im ready to hand in my top 10 NES games

10.Gremlins 2 the new batch ( great game controlling Gizmo was cool)
9. Mega Man (I always recall being sick and my Mum buying me it)
8. McDonalds Kids (You got to play it to believe it)
7. WWF WrestleMania challenge (like my 1st of many in the wrestling games)
6. Super Mario Bros 2 (so underrated)
5. Chip & Dale rescue rangers (2 player paradise)
4.Double Dragon (again 2 player greatness)
3.Super Mario Bros/ Duck Hunt (joint place has I had the both of them on the same cartridge plus the pair of them are all time NES classics)
2.Super Mario Bros 3 (the legendary whistle to skip worlds, oh and the dancing trees on map 1)
1.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Yes I downloaded it on the virtual console channel on Wii connect 24/7, this game oozes with awesomeness no matter how many times I play I just dont get enough of it, TMNT for NES is without a shadow of a doubt one of my favourite games of all time.

Most of my memories as a kid were playing Super Mario 2 and 3. If i'm not mistaken, there was also this game where you had to shoot ducks with a special controller. That was cool as well.

Oh yes that would be "Duck Hunt" with the orange and great "NES" gun.

why could you never shoot the dog from duck hunt very annoying. doues any one remember probotector for the nes, I remember the cheat for unlimited lives.

That Dog needed shooting with the amount of times he did the "Mutley" laugh at you everytime you missed the ducks...

Remember the clay shooting game also? That was like a add on to "Duck Hunt"
