I always liked both games, but MK slighly edged it because of the violence and gore. I really loved SF too though. As for the films, they are alll sh@

Hard decision great question

Street Fighter II was like a top 3 title for the SNES without a shadow of a doubt The game was awesome the characters where cool (at the time) Guile was like my god Sonic Boom the 4 bosses Barlog ,Vega,Sagot and M.Bison where legendary
I use to like the way you travel round the world to fight people and it would announce the country, the point on Ryu & Ken beats me, Ryu was like ten times better then Ken even though there moves where the exact same, Ken just looked like Owen Wilson, Though what was the point of Street Fighter why was these random people from all over the world having the s*it kicked out of them for no reason was it a tournament or what?

Mortal Kombat, again amazing game still whooping ass all over the world on all formats and consoles, with the most popular one-liners characters and fatalities ever. Now like Street Fighter MK had more then one boss this time being two, Goro and Shang Tsung Goro was a bitch to kill sometimes, best use scorpion with the spear/upper cut technique. Now you could say I am contradicting my self by saying Sub Zero & Scorpion are awesome, cause many people say there the same like Ken & Ryu, though in-fact there completely different ice and spears arent the same folks. Now I do know the story of Mortal Kombat, its a tournament hosted in out world to determine the ultimate Kombat champion and the winner if there is one will be immortal until the next tournament in like a 1000 years. Mega Drive version was better has there is a code to enter to enable blood.

Ok with some thought, and using the Games on a scale of later releases and characters I will go for MK I mean WTF is street fighter alpha? Bring me MK Armageddon and quick.

Mortal combat never did that for me.

however for the films the first MK film has one of my on screen heros in it the king of the kilts from highlander,
Christipher Lambert, as fot SF2 the movie it has the annoing muscles from brustles,

what about merchendise has anyone got any (key rings Anime films etc).
